Galloway arrives at Veterans United following a tenure as CFO at the private equity firm Permanent Equity. Her career includes a significant public sector background, notably serving as Missouri State Auditor from 2015 to 2023 and as Boone County Treasurer, where she managed a $100 million investment portfolio. A certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner, she also brings private-sector experience from roles at Allstate Insurance and Shelter Insurance.
CEO Nate Long emphasized that Galloway’s background in high-level financial oversight aligns with the company’s current growth trajectory and leadership structure. Veterans United, which closed over $26 billion in loans in fiscal 2025, maintains its status as the country's top VA purchase lender. Galloway noted that the move offers a chance to apply her experience in accountability to a rapidly evolving lending environment.
