Defense Tech Firm Lyntris Targets Public Market Debut

With a dominant 69% stake held by Joshua Kushner’s Thrive Capital, defense technology developer Lyntris has officially filed for an initial public offering. The company, which specializes in sense-to-act connectivity solutions, submitted its preliminary paperwork to the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday to initiate the transition toward public trading.

While the filing remains light on specific pricing and share volume details, it outlines a strategy to utilize IPO proceeds for continued product development and broader corporate operations. The firm faces a challenging financial backdrop, reporting an $8.5 million net loss on $388.9 million in revenue for the 2025 fiscal year.

Upon completion of the offering, Thrive Capital intends to execute a pro rata distribution-in-kind to its general and limited partners. This move signals a significant shift for the defense-focused startup as it seeks to scale its connectivity infrastructure within a competitive sector.
