The bank's performance reflects successful integration efforts following the 2025 acquisition of Northway Financial. For the first six months of 2026, the company generated $44.9 million in net income, a significant climb from the $21.4 million recorded during the same period last year. CEO Simon Griffiths attributed the growth to disciplined strategic execution and deeper customer relationships, which helped drive 3% annualized loan growth.

Operational efficiency remains a core focus, with the company’s non-GAAP efficiency ratio improving to 53.23% for the quarter. While total assets remained steady at $7.0 billion, the bank saw a 45% jump in its committed loan pipeline, signaling potential for continued expansion in the second half of the year. Asset quality also remains resilient, with net charge-offs-to-average-loans holding at 0.04%.
