MMSDC Rebrands as 360 Business Council to Unify Growth Initiatives

After five decades of driving minority business development, the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council has rebranded as the 360 Business Council. The move, executed by agency LUDWIG+, aims to consolidate a sprawling portfolio of economic initiatives under a single identity while maintaining the organization's long-standing institutional credibility.

The organization, which generated over $55 billion in economic output this year, outgrew its original scope as it expanded into capital lending, workforce development, and global business initiatives. Leadership determined that a unified brand architecture was required to provide clarity for corporate partners and businesses navigating their services. The new identity centers on the platform promise to Connect, Engage, and Grow, serving as a strategic foundation for future scalability.

Barbara Yolles Ludwig, founder and CEO of LUDWIG+, noted that the rebranding effort focused on creating a clear trajectory for the organization’s next chapter rather than a mere visual update. Michelle Sourie Robinson, President and CEO of 360 Business Council, emphasized that the transition honors the legacy of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council while signaling a shift toward a more comprehensive, ecosystem-based approach to business support. The new digital experience and branding went live on July 20 across all communication channels.
