The company’s Financial Services segment emerged as a primary growth engine, recording a 12% revenue increase and marking two consecutive quarters of double-digit expansion. Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S noted that the firm is actively helping clients bridge the gap between AI experimentation and large-scale enterprise execution. This strategy involves integrating deep domain expertise with modernized data infrastructure, supported by the ongoing deployment of the company's "Frontier" workforce model.

Cognizant maintained a disciplined approach to capital allocation during the quarter, deploying $1.1 billion toward share repurchases and completing the $634 million acquisition of Astreya. Despite these investments, the company reported an adjusted operating margin of 16.0%, reflecting a 40-basis-point increase compared to the same period last year. Looking ahead, management raised its full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to a range of $5.70 to $5.82, signaling confidence in its ability to sustain operational rigor while funding long-term AI capabilities.
