The company reported consolidated earnings of $483 million for the quarter, compared to $468 million during the same period in 2025. While as-reported earnings remained stable, the utility sector saw earnings rise to $626 million from $599 million a year prior. Executives attributed the growth to favorable regulatory outcomes, increased retail sales volume, and returns on construction work in progress for utility plant investments. These gains were partially offset by rising interest expenses and higher operation and maintenance costs.

Entergy continues to focus on grid reliability and capital expansion, recently securing a $200 million grant from the Texas Energy Fund. The company also completed a $2.175 billion common stock offering to support its long-term growth strategy. Looking ahead, Entergy maintained its 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance range of $4.25 to $4.45, backed by robust demand from large-scale industrial customers and data centers. The firm currently serves more than 3 million customers across its four-state footprint.
