Investors File Securities Class Action Against BitGo Holdings

Investors who purchased BitGo Holdings securities between January 2025 and May 2026 are being urged to review their legal options following a class action lawsuit filed in San Diego. The litigation claims the firm obscured the risks that volatile digital asset markets posed to its financial stability.

The lawsuit, spearheaded by Robbins LLP, targets BitGo Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BTGO) for allegedly misleading shareholders regarding its business prospects and financial health. According to the complaint, the company’s IPO documents and subsequent disclosures failed to adequately address how declining cryptocurrency prices threatened its bottom line. This omission allegedly left investors unprepared for the company's stark financial shift, which saw a $14.8 million net loss in 2025 following a $156.6 million profit the previous year.

The market reaction was swift after BitGo reported these results on March 26, 2026, alongside a notable contraction in its Digital Asset Sales segment margin. By the following trading session, the stock price plunged 15.71%, or $1.43 per share, settling at $7.67. Shareholders who acquired stock during the class period—defined as January 22, 2025, through May 13, 2026—or those with shares traceable to the IPO, may be eligible to participate in the recovery efforts. Those wishing to serve as lead plaintiff must file their applications by August 7, 2026.
