The platform’s new AI Quiz Generation tool automates the creation of interactive knowledge checks, allowing instructors to build assessments directly from existing video content. By grounding these quizzes in internal materials, Panopto aims to streamline content development while maintaining accuracy. This shift is complemented by Connect Analytics, which provides granular visibility into viewer behavior, identifying engagement trends and specific drop-off points to refine learning strategies.
To move beyond simple video storage, the company introduced the Knowledge Insights Data Connector. This feature enables organizations to export engagement data into platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. By correlating video consumption with broader performance metrics, institutions can evaluate how educational resources impact student success or employee productivity. Additionally, a new integration with Workday Learning embeds Panopto content directly into existing professional workflows, reducing the friction typically associated with accessing corporate training materials.
CEO Stephen Laster stated that these advancements stem from direct feedback from customer councils, emphasizing the need for reinforcement in both formal and informal learning environments. With more than 2,000 organizations currently utilizing its infrastructure, Panopto is positioning these tools to strengthen governance and ensure that video-based knowledge remains a scalable, measurable asset across the enterprise.
