The transformation of the Zuiderdam represents the largest fleet investment in the company’s 153-year history. Returning to the water, the ship will feature significant onboard enhancements, including purpose-built Solo Verandahs, forward-facing Bridgeview Suites, and a reimagined Pinnacle Suite. The vessel will also incorporate the Grand Dutch Café, a popular staple of the line’s Pinnacle Class ships, designed to bridge the gap between the onboard environment and the company’s Dutch heritage.

Following its Mediterranean debut, the Zuiderdam will shift its operations to Amsterdam for the summer season. The itinerary spans a vast geographic range, covering the Atlantic coast, the Norwegian fjords, and the North Atlantic. Notable planned routes include a 13-day Atlantic Europe voyage connecting Lisbon to Amsterdam, as well as multiple expeditions to Iceland and Greenland. The season culminates in August 2028 with a 21-day cultural crossing from Amsterdam to Boston, tracing historical maritime routes. These voyages are intended to align with the cruise line's focus on premium, destination-intensive travel, blending modern suite comforts with the historic exploration themes that have defined the brand for over a century.
