Levi & Korsinsky Probes Pharming Group Over RUCONEST Revenue Slide

A 22% plunge in Pharming Group shares following a sharp decline in RUCONEST sales has triggered a formal investigation by law firm Levi & Korsinsky. The inquiry centers on whether the company provided investors with transparent disclosures regarding competitive pressures facing its legacy product during the second quarter of 2026.

RUCONEST revenue hit $72.3 million for the second quarter, marking a 10% decrease compared to the previous year. This performance dragged total company revenue down to $90.2 million, a 3% year-over-year drop, despite a 40% growth in the newer therapy Joenja. Diluted earnings per share also slipped, falling to $0.002 from $0.006 in the prior year.

The investigation examines statements made by CEO Fabrice Chouraqui during an earnings call on November 6, 2025. At the time, Chouraqui downplayed the threat of competing therapies, specifically stating that the company did not anticipate head-to-head competition with sebetralstat. Shareholders are now questioning if those assertions accurately reflected the market environment that ultimately led to the company lowering its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $375 million to $395 million.
