Domino’s Offers $5 Rebate for Digital Platform Feedback

Domino’s Pizza is turning its customer base into a massive, paid focus group. Starting August 3 and running through the end of the month, the Ann Arbor-based chain is offering a $5 coupon to any customer who places a qualifying order via its recently redesigned website or mobile application.

The promotion functions as a direct incentive for users to navigate the updated digital interface. Customers who complete an order during the promotional window receive the credit for use on a subsequent digital purchase the following week. For those enrolled in the company’s rewards program, the discount appears automatically in the 'My Deals' section, while other patrons receive the offer via email.

Mark Messing, Domino's vice president of global digital marketing, framed the initiative as a way to gather actionable data on the platform’s performance. While the company encourages users to submit feedback regarding their experience at the conclusion of each order, the discount is not strictly contingent on providing a review. The move highlights the company's aggressive reliance on digital channels, which currently account for more than 85% of its U.S. retail sales.
