Ultra Clean Holdings Posts Revenue Growth Amid AI-Driven Demand

Hayward-based Ultra Clean Holdings exceeded its second-quarter guidance as the semiconductor equipment supplier reported $644.9 million in revenue. CEO James Xiao credited the performance to strong operational execution, signaling that sustained investment in artificial intelligence remains a primary catalyst for the company’s recent financial turnaround.

The company’s latest financial report reflects a significant shift from the previous quarter, where it posted a net loss of $17.9 million. For the period ending June 26, 2026, Ultra Clean reported GAAP net income of $8.7 million, or $0.19 per diluted share. Non-GAAP results, which exclude restructuring charges and amortization of intangible assets, were even stronger, with net income reaching $32.3 million.

Management is now shifting focus toward the UCT 3.0 initiative, a strategy centered on expanding global manufacturing capacity and accelerating digital transformation. Looking ahead, the company projects third-quarter revenue between $700 million and $750 million, anticipating continued momentum as it scales its engineering and operational capabilities to meet industry needs.
