The modular unit, manufactured entirely in South Australia, will be deployed at an operating mine in the Western United States. This expansion marks a pivot from domestic research to international scaling, supported by a $12.5 million funding round backed by Orion Industrial Ventures, Virescent Ventures, Taronga Ventures, and Significant Ventures. The technology eliminates the need for large water volumes, addressing a critical bottleneck in global resource extraction.

Beyond current US operations, the company is establishing a research laboratory in Texas to facilitate critical minerals studies. Insights gained from the American project will drive the development of a 200-tonne-per-hour modular system. Initial validation for this next-generation hardware is already scheduled with Peak Iron Mines, bolstered by Federal Government grant assistance. As the world’s largest iron ore exporter, Australia continues to leverage its technical expertise to address the evolving requirements of low-emissions steelmaking.
