Investors Target Myriad Genetics Following Sharp Guidance Cut

Three months after Myriad Genetics reaffirmed its 2026 revenue forecast of up to $880 million, the company slashed its guidance by nearly $90 million at the midpoint. This abrupt reversal, which included the total suspension of adjusted EBITDA targets, has triggered a formal investigation by law firm Levi & Korsinsky.

The scrutiny centers on whether management provided misleading financial information during the company’s May 5, 2026, earnings call. At that time, Chief Financial Officer Ben Wheeler explicitly confirmed annual revenue targets of $860 million to $880 million, while CEO Samraat Raha projected sequential growth for the second quarter. These assurances collapsed when Q2 revenue reached only $190.7 million, falling significantly below both the previous quarter’s $200.4 million and consensus analyst estimates of $206 million.

Levi & Korsinsky is now evaluating potential securities fraud claims on behalf of shareholders who suffered losses following the guidance revision. The firm, a perennial member of the ISS Top 50 securities litigation list, is collecting brokerage records to determine if the May reaffirmation of financial targets constituted a material misrepresentation. Investors who held or purchased the stock during this period are encouraged to contact the firm to review their eligibility for recovery, regardless of whether they currently retain their shares.
