Waters Corporation Raises 2026 Outlook After Strong Revenue Growth

Waters Corporation reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.645 billion, exceeding its own guidance as the company’s analytical sciences and newly integrated diagnostic units saw broad market recovery. Following this performance, the Milford-based firm increased its full-year earnings forecast, signaling confidence in sustained demand across its life sciences portfolio.

The company’s organic revenue climbed 7% to $828 million, with constant currency growth reaching 9%. Chief Executive Officer Udit Batra attributed the momentum to successful commercial execution and the rapid integration of the recently acquired Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions businesses, which contributed $817 million in revenue this quarter. While GAAP results showed a diluted loss per share of $1.39 due to acquisition-related accounting charges, adjusted earnings per share reached $3.05, hitting the high end of company projections.

Waters is now projecting full-year 2026 organic constant currency revenue growth between 7% and 9%, with adjusted earnings per share expected to land between $14.45 and $14.65. This upward revision reflects a shift in end-market conditions, where previously lagging customer segments are returning to growth. The firm plans to maintain this trajectory through the third quarter, targeting organic revenue growth of up to 10% as it leverages a larger installed base and expanded portfolio.
