TransDigm Raises Fiscal 2026 Guidance Following Strong Quarter

TransDigm Group reported a 23% surge in third-quarter net sales to $2.74 billion, fueled by sustained demand across its commercial and defense aerospace markets. Following these results, the Cleveland-based components manufacturer revised its full-year financial outlook upward, anticipating continued growth through the remainder of the fiscal year.

The company’s net income climbed 10% to $540 million for the quarter ending June 27, 2026, while adjusted earnings per share reached $10.87. CEO Mike Lisman noted that all three major market channels delivered double-digit growth, with commercial aftermarket sales rising 17%. The firm also maintained a 52.8% EBITDA margin, supported by a value-driven operating strategy despite increased interest and administrative expenses.

TransDigm continues to aggressively expand its portfolio and manage capital. Beyond its quarterly operations, the company recently announced the $1.07 billion acquisition of Prince & Izant, a manufacturer of specialty metal components. This follows the earlier $2.2 billion purchase of Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra. To support these activities, the firm returned $1 billion to shareholders via stock repurchases during the quarter, bringing its total year-to-date buybacks to $1.8 billion.

Looking toward the end of fiscal 2026, the company expects net sales to hit between $10.47 billion and $10.55 billion. Management increased its full-year EBITDA guidance by $100 million at the midpoint, citing strong booking momentum and consistent performance across its aerospace and defense sectors.
