Investors Face August 10 Deadline in Via Transportation IPO Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Via Transportation common stock in the company's initial public offering are facing an August 10, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation alleges that the company's IPO documents contained misleading information regarding its financial health and growth trajectory.

The complaint filed against Via Transportation (NYSE: VIA) claims that the firm's offering documents failed to disclose significant obstacles to growth that existed at the time of the IPO. Specifically, the lawsuit points to a declining Platform Annual Run-Rate Revenue and a failure to expand operations within the German market. Following the public disclosure of these issues, Via shares experienced a sharp decline, trading as low as $14.52—a drop of nearly 70% from their initial offering price.

Rosen Law Firm, which is spearheading the litigation, notes that no class has been certified yet, meaning investors are not currently represented by counsel unless they choose to retain one. Those who purchased shares traceable to the IPO may be entitled to compensation through a contingency fee arrangement. Investors wishing to serve as lead plaintiff must file a motion with the court by the August 10 deadline. Those who prefer not to take an active role in directing the litigation may remain absent class members, as the ability to share in any potential future recovery does not require serving as a representative party.
