The five-year deal expands the Houston-based firm’s footprint in the Middle East, specifically targeting upstream activities. By leveraging its Ahmadi Innovation Valley research center, NESR plans to integrate global technology solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the Kuwaiti energy ecosystem. The company will manage surface well testing and joint operations interventions as part of the agreement with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).

Sherif Foda, Chairman and CEO of NESR, stated that the research center will focus on field-specific challenges, ranging from unconventional resource development to sustainability initiatives. These contracts solidify the company’s standing as a primary service provider in the region, building on its existing infrastructure in 16 countries. The move aligns with the strategic vision of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) to modernize domestic energy production through localized innovation.
