Regal Rexnord Posts Second Quarter Gains Amid CEO Transition

Regal Rexnord Corporation reported a 4.2% increase in second-quarter sales to $1.558 billion, bolstered by an 8.8% rise in daily orders. Under new CEO Aamir Paul, the Milwaukee-based manufacturer navigated inflationary pressures and soft demand in residential HVAC and mining markets to deliver a 46.7% jump in GAAP net income.

The company’s quarterly performance reflects a mixed industrial landscape. While organic sales grew by 3.3%, headwinds in specific sectors—including residential HVAC, pool, mining, and agriculture—tempered overall momentum. CFO Rob Rehard noted that the firm is currently experiencing a lag in price realization against inflation, alongside a longer timeline for realizing planned productivity gains. Despite these challenges, the company maintained its adjusted earnings per share outlook, with a guidance range narrowed to $10.35 to $10.85.

Segment results highlighted the divergence in current market demands. The Automation & Motion Control segment led the charge with 16.2% sales growth, driven by significant interest in data centers and aerospace. Conversely, Power Efficiency Solutions saw a 5.5% decline, largely tied to weakness in residential markets. As Regal Rexnord moves into the second half of 2026, the company expects to reduce its net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio to below 3.0x, signaling a focus on fiscal discipline during this leadership transition.
