TAT Technologies Hits Record Backlog as Aerospace Demand Soars

A surge in aerospace demand has propelled TAT Technologies to a record $615 million backlog, with the company reporting a 22.8% revenue increase to $52.9 million for the second quarter of 2026. This growth highlights the firm’s strengthening position in the commercial and military aftermarket sectors.

The company’s performance reflects a strategic shift in market conditions, as easing supply chain constraints allowed TAT to convert long-standing demand into realized revenue. While the reported net income reached $8.1 million—bolstered by a $4.3 million non-operating gain from a minority interest sale—operational profitability remains on a clear upward trajectory. Excluding one-time benefits, adjusted net income grew by 35.2% compared to the same period last year.

CEO Igal Zamir noted that the company’s deepened partnership with Honeywell Aerospace has been central to this momentum. By securing sole authorized distributor status for the 331-200 auxiliary power unit platform and extending its MRO license through 2036, TAT has fortified its influence in the APU aftermarket. Despite persistent, albeit moderating, supply chain complexities, the firm continues to prioritize component availability to support its growing list of long-term agreements.
