Worldscape Secures $10 Million to Advance AI-Driven Mission Engineering

Redmond-based Worldscape has closed a $10 million seed extension led by Scout Ventures to scale its AI-native decision platform. The capital infusion follows a period of rapid internal growth, with the company expanding its engineering workforce from 10 to nearly 70 employees over the past year to support defense and energy sector initiatives.

The funding round, which included participation from Radius Capital, will accelerate the development of the company’s autonomous AI agents and large-scale simulation capabilities. Worldscape’s platform is designed to consolidate digital engineering, distributed data, and agentic AI into a unified environment. This allows organizations to model, evaluate, and optimize complex missions through a secure, governed interface capable of operating in highly sensitive, air-gapped settings ranging from IL2 to IL7.

Cody Huggins, a partner at Scout Ventures, noted that the platform addresses the need for infrastructure that merges simulation with distributed data to support intelligent decision-making. Currently, the company is collaborating with the Department of War and the Department of Energy. CEO Mark Bolz stated that the investment is intended to shift mission engineering away from static analysis toward a living, AI-enabled ecosystem where humans and intelligent agents iterate on courses of action in real time.
