Roughly 85% of the 160 new patients identified in the second quarter were TKI-naïve, marking a 30% increase over the previous quarter. Beyond its commercial efforts, the firm is aggressively advancing its pipeline, particularly with the IDH1 inhibitor safusidenib. Positive long-term Phase 2 data for the drug has prompted the company to launch new clinical studies for IDH1-mutant glioma, including a pivotal Phase 3 trial. CEO David Hung noted that the company is aiming to address broad patient populations across the spectrum of this disease. Despite the revenue growth, operating costs remain high, with research and development expenses reaching $30.7 million as the company funds its expanded clinical development programs.
