The company adjusted its expectations for annual adjusted earnings per share to a range between $17.94 and $17.99, an increase from its previous forecast of $17.62 to $17.72. This revision follows a strong third quarter where sales grew 12% to reach $3.38 billion.
While top-line growth remains robust, net profit for the quarter dipped to $512 million, or $3.06 per share, compared with $562 million, or $3.33 per share, during the same period last year. On an adjusted basis, earnings reached $4.69 per share. Chief Executive Greg Brown attributed these results to high-intensity interest in the company’s core security offerings, which continue to anchor its financial performance.
