Participants will receive customized business matchmaking, on-the-ground support from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and market intelligence from in-country specialists. This approach follows recent successful missions to Querétaro and Paris, where companies like Centracore leveraged curated meetings to penetrate new markets.

Automation Alley CEO Tom Kelly emphasizes that global growth remains a necessity for Michigan’s technology and manufacturing sectors. With Mexico serving as the United States' largest trading partner, the mission provides a bridge for local businesses to integrate into a broader continental ecosystem. Since 2001, the organization has facilitated 55 such missions, contributing to $2.4 billion in export sales and the creation of 12,000 regional jobs. Interested companies have until September 15, 2026, to apply for one of the ten available spots.
