Pomerantz LLP Launches Investigation into AST SpaceMobile

A 12 percent stock drop following a January downgrade has triggered a formal investigation into AST SpaceMobile. New York-based Pomerantz LLP is now examining whether the company or its executives engaged in securities fraud, seeking to represent investors who suffered losses amid mounting competition and financial volatility.

The legal inquiry follows a turbulent period for the satellite firm. On January 7, 2026, Scotiabank downgraded the stock to Sell, pointing to stiff competition from SpaceX’s Starlink, sluggish customer adoption, and recurring delays in satellite deployment. The market reacted sharply, sending shares down $11.76 to close at $85.73.

Financial pressure intensified on July 15, 2026, when AST announced the pricing of $1 billion in convertible senior notes. The move prompted another sell-off, with the stock price shedding an additional 17.04% to close at $55.01 the following day. Investors affected by these developments are encouraged to contact Danielle Peyton at Pomerantz LLP to discuss potential participation in a class action suit.
