Recent initiatives include the SJC 101 Citizens Academy, the launch of three original podcasts—County Conversations, Behind the SJCenes, and The SJC Report—and the SJC Stewardship Series, which documents the county’s historical and cultural heritage. These efforts align with the broader County Strategic Plan, which prioritizes organizational excellence and transparent service delivery. The county's communications strategy continues to gain momentum, following recent recognition from the Florida Municipal Communicators Association and national honors from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association for the 'Get Hooked' anti-litter campaign.
