H&H Bagels Expands Florida Presence to Avenir Town Center

The scent of New York-style kettle-boiled bagels now drifts through Palm Beach Gardens, as H&H Bagels officially opened its doors at the Avenir Town Center on August 20. The arrival marks a shift for the 200,000-square-foot development, moving beyond basic retail staples toward a destination-driven lifestyle hub.

Founded on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in 1972, the brand brings its traditional water-bagel method to the 12465 Northlake Boulevard location. Dough is proofed and boiled in New York City water before being shipped to Florida to be baked fresh throughout the day. This expansion adds to the company’s existing Palm Beach County footprint, which already includes sites in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.

Connie McGinnis of Avenir Real Estate Services noted the significance of the addition, describing the shop as the type of daily fixture the community needs. The restaurant joins a growing roster of tenants at the site, including Publix and Walgreens, with Carmela Coffee slated to follow immediately after. Beyond the bagel shop, the development is moving forward with plans for a 1.8-million-square-foot office complex and a new health park currently under construction. With golf cart paths and pedestrian trails linking the commercial heart to over 4,000 residential homes, the project aims to integrate dining and wellness into the daily rhythm of the Avenir community.
