Monteverde & Associates Launches Investigations Into Four Corporate Mergers

A New York-based class action firm is scrutinizing four separate corporate acquisitions, questioning whether the proposed terms adequately protect shareholder interests. Attorney Juan Monteverde of Monteverde & Associates PC has opened investigations into the buyout deals involving Cherry Hill Mortgage, Varex Imaging, Harte Hanks, and Accelerant Holdings.

The firm, which maintains offices in the Empire State Building, is currently evaluating the fairness of the compensation packages offered in these transactions. Cherry Hill Mortgage Investment Corporation shareholders are slated to receive 0.3063 shares of TPG Mortgage common stock plus $0.93 in cash per share under the proposed merger. Meanwhile, Varex Imaging Corporation is being reviewed regarding its all-cash sale to Teledyne Technologies at $18.90 per share.

The investigation also extends to Harte Hanks, where investors face a choice between $5.00 in cash per share or 0.50 shares of Star Equity's Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock. Finally, the firm is looking into the $20.25-per-share cash buyout of Accelerant Holdings by Thoma Bravo. Monteverde & Associates, recognized in the 2025 ISS Securities Class Action Services Report, is inviting shareholders of these companies to review the terms of the deals for potential litigation, noting that inquiries carry no cost or obligation to the investors.
