Modveon Secures $10M to Build Verified Government Operating Systems

Modernizing Public Infrastructure

The company is positioning its technology as a secure layer for government coordination and transactions. According to Modveon, the platform focuses on "identity-first" architecture, designed to ensure that digital interactions are both verified and secure from end to end. While the company is in its early stages, it confirmed that initial government deployments are already active, with commercial agreements currently generating revenue.

The funding round drew support from a mix of tech and security-focused investors. Beyond Coinbase, participants included Firebolt Ventures, Humla Ventures, and Strategic Cyber Ventures. The startup is led by Chief Executive Nana Murugesan, who co-founded the firm in 2025 following a three-year tenure as vice president of international development and listings at Coinbase.

Modveon’s entry into the market comes as public institutions face increasing pressure to digitize services without compromising security. By providing a verified operating system, the firm intends to streamline how state entities manage sensitive data and citizen communications.
