Eli Lilly and Company is set to present a slate of new clinical trial results at the 62nd Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Milan. The findings, scheduled for release between September 28 and October 2, 2026, highlight the company's expanding portfolio of treatments for obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The presentations will center on the efficacy and safety profiles of several key investigational and established therapies. Among the highlights, Phase 3 results for retatrutide—a triple hormone receptor agonist—will demonstrate significant weight loss and A1C reductions in patients with type 2 diabetes. Additionally, data from the ACHIEVE-4 study will reinforce the cardiovascular safety of the oral medication Foundayo, also known as orforglipron.

Lilly is also slated to reveal Phase 2 data for eloraTZP, a triple-acting therapy combining eloralintide with tirzepatide. Beyond these new compounds, the company will share further insights from the SURPASS-CVOT trial, which evaluated the cardiovascular outcomes of Mounjaro in adults with established heart disease, and present exploratory proteomic findings from the SURMOUNT-5 study. These disclosures aim to provide a deeper biological understanding of how current and future treatments address the complexities of cardiometabolic disease.
