The brand launches with the Collaboration Series, featuring bespoke designs from four global studios: London’s Nice Projects and JAM, Tokyo’s KEIJI ASHIZAWA DESIGN, and New York-based LOVEISENOUGH. These works highlight the capabilities of the Dimense DA-640 printing system, which uses structural ink and heat-activated media to expand surfaces by up to 2 millimeters. This process creates intricate contours that are as much about touch as they are about visual resolution.
Beyond aesthetics, the company is positioning the brand as a sustainable alternative to traditional manufacturing. By utilizing on-demand digital production, the system eliminates the need for large inventory runs and reduces material waste. The wallcoverings are crafted from PVC-free, odorless materials and water-based inks, catering to residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. Andrew Oransky, Chief Strategy Officer at Roland DG, noted that the initiative serves to bridge the gap between world-class design and digital production, providing authorized print providers with a new avenue to offer bespoke, immersive surface solutions.
