Cylus Debuts AI-Driven Rail Security at InnoTrans 2026

Rail cybersecurity firm Cylus unveiled its new agentic intelligence platform, Cylus.ai, at the InnoTrans 2026 trade fair in Berlin today. Alongside the product launch, the company announced that three former heads of global transit agencies have joined its advisory board to help guide the platform’s integration into complex rail networks.

Cylus.ai functions as an intelligence layer designed to augment existing security stacks rather than replace them. As rail networks become increasingly interconnected and digital threats evolve, the platform provides operators with specific rail-industry expertise to analyze network activity and coordinate responses. The system is engineered to work in tandem with CylusOne, the company’s flagship visibility platform, ensuring that security teams can translate data into actionable insights while maintaining human oversight.

To bolster its industry-specific approach, the company appointed Nuria Fernández, former U.S. Federal Transit Administration head; Josef Doppelbauer, former Executive Director of the European Union Agency for Railways; and Mario Péloquin, former CEO of VIA Rail Canada, to its advisory board. These appointments reflect a strategic push to align cybersecurity development with the operational realities and regulatory frameworks of national rail systems. Amir Levintal, CEO of Cylus, noted that generic security tools are currently insufficient to counter attackers who are already leveraging AI to outpace human defenders. The company is hosting live demonstrations of the new technology at Hall 6.1, Booth #225, throughout the duration of the InnoTrans event.
