Comparato, who vacated the position earlier this week, cited a desire to prioritize time with his family. Despite his departure from the executive suite, he will remain with the firm as a senior advisor through 2027. Byrne assumes the vacancy with the backing of an existing senior leadership team that has maintained continuity throughout the shift.
Changes to the executive roster also include an expanded role for finance chief Jerry Baglien. Baglien, who retains his duties as chief operating officer, was named co-president alongside Brian Buffone. In his new capacity, Baglien will oversee the company's commercial real estate debt platform, centralizing key operational responsibilities under his leadership.
