The capital infusion arrives via a structured investment from funds managed by Hamilton Lane, alongside an upsized credit facility provided by Power Sustainable Infrastructure Credit, Palistar Capital, and MidStar Capital. This financial backing allows telMAX to extend its 100% pure fibre-optic network into Burlington, Brampton, and Mississauga, targeting hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses currently underserved by legacy providers.
Since its 2025 financing round, the company has aggressively scaled its footprint in Markham, Barrie, and Oakville. According to CEO Michael Strople, the new investment is intended to bypass the limitations of incumbent internet options, enabling the company to deploy high-performance infrastructure at a pace larger competitors struggle to match. By focusing on end-to-end fibre-to-the-home technology, telMAX aims to position itself as a long-term alternative for high-speed connectivity in one of Canada’s most densely populated regions.
