Verneek, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, chose Luxembourg for its central position and proximity to major European markets. CEO Dr. Nasrin Mostafazadeh noted that the company intends to replicate its U.S. success by helping local retailers optimize bottom-line performance and streamline institutional knowledge. The firm's platform is designed to unify data across merchandising, store operations, and executive decision-making, effectively bridging the gap between front and back-office functions.
To support this growth, Verneek has recruited board members with deep ties to European industry, including former Moët Hennessy CEO Philippe Schaus and ASML chair Nils Smedegaard Andersen. Luc Decker, the Consul General of Luxembourg in New York, stated that the move provides a platform to cultivate local expertise in practical AI applications. The company currently supports tens of millions of consumers globally, with its technology already deployed across various e-commerce and supply chain workflows.
