The class action alleges that York Space Systems and its senior leadership misled shareholders by concealing critical deficiencies regarding satellite software functionality and operational readiness. According to the complaint, these omissions allegedly obscured significant risks to multi-hundred-million-dollar contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense's Space Development Agency, including funding tied to Tranche 3 procurement.
The litigation specifically targets claims made between January 29 and May 11, 2026. Plaintiffs contend that the company’s onboard mission and payload software was not fully functional prior to launch, jeopardizing contractually required milestones. Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, the firm representing the class, is currently investigating whether management knowingly misrepresented the firm’s manufacturing scale and technological reliability. Investors who suffered losses are encouraged to contact lead attorney Reed Kathrein before the court-imposed cutoff.
