Investors Face October Deadline in Pentair Securities Fraud Suit

Investors who acquired Pentair plc securities between March 11, 2025, and July 14, 2026, have until October 2, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a class action lawsuit. Philadelphia-based law firm Berger Montague filed the action, alleging the company misled shareholders regarding inventory levels and financial performance.

The complaint alleges that Pentair and its executives failed to disclose significant inventory destocking within its Pool segment, which ultimately undermined the company's sales and operating income. These issues surfaced on July 14, 2026, when Pentair announced that destocking had slashed Pool segment sales by $170 million and income by $105 million. Following the disclosure, the company revised its full-year sales guidance downward by as much as 7 percent and reported the immediate departure of its Chief Financial Officer. Pentair shares dropped 15 percent, closing at $64.33 on July 15, 2026.

Investors wishing to participate in the litigation or discuss their legal standing may contact Andrew Abramowitz at 215-875-3015 or Caitlin Adorni at 267-764-4865. Berger Montague, a firm specializing in complex civil litigation, represents the plaintiffs in this action.
