The new model introduces the "Art of Steel" design philosophy, characterized by muscular exterior lines and a cabin focused on flexible storage and intuitive controls. Under the hood, a next-generation hybrid system targets an efficiency rating of 42 mpg, balancing fuel economy with performance. Hyundai is also expanding the vehicle's utility with the TUCSON XRT PRO, a variant equipped with Smart Terrain Assist to handle more demanding off-road conditions.
Digital transformation takes center stage with the Pleos Connect infotainment system. Powered by Gleo AI, the interface offers an evolving app marketplace and a revamped user experience. José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, described the vehicle as the most ambitious model the company has produced to date. This release serves as the opening move in a broader strategy to introduce over 100 new or refreshed vehicles globally, with 58 of those slated for the North American market.
