Loan Trading Platform ORSNN Adds Tech and Credit Union Veterans

Institutional loan trading platform ORSNN has tapped former Amazon and AWS leaders Aaron Khoo and Werner Koepf for its C-suite, while recruiting credit union veteran Ken Plank as a senior advisor. The appointments signal a push to modernize the fragmented, data-heavy workflows currently plaguing the whole loan market.

CEO Sean Banerjee stated the new hires will align product, engineering, and institutional expertise to simplify how banks and credit unions evaluate and transact loan pools. Khoo, joining as Chief Product Officer, brings experience from AWS Control Tower to oversee the digitization of traditional sales workflows. Koepf, the new CTO, will leverage his background in applied AI and enterprise software from companies like LILT AI and Ticketmaster to sharpen the platform’s technical architecture.

Plank, a former Chief Lending Officer at Numerica Credit Union, arrives to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and the practical needs of credit union portfolio managers. The expansion follows a period of growth for the 2019-founded startup, which has now supported $3 billion in loan offering volume. With a SOC 2 Type I examination complete and a capital raise nearing closure, the company is positioning itself to scale its digital transaction experience for institutional investors.
