Vermiculus Debuts VeriAct to Automate Complex Corporate Actions

Stockholm-based Vermiculus has introduced VeriAct, a cloud-native platform designed to manage the full lifecycle of corporate actions through AI-driven configuration. By moving away from rigid hard-coded systems, the solution allows market infrastructure operators to adapt to shifting regulatory requirements and diverse market practices without lengthy development cycles.

The system utilizes a microservices architecture, enabling high-performance processing and seamless integration with existing trading, clearing, and central securities depository (CSD) environments. Operators can parameterize any event type, tax rule, or formula, ensuring that complex scenarios are handled with precision whether in live processing or simulation modes. Transparency remains a core pillar, with auditable logic providing a clear trail for every action taken throughout the event chain.

Gustav Nystedt, Senior Product Expert at Vermiculus, noted that the platform addresses the industry's need for agility in the face of constantly evolving market events. Currently, the system is deployed by major infrastructure operators, including B3. VeriAct functions as either a stand-alone tool or as part of the broader Vermiculus suite, allowing firms to isolate workloads and scale components independently to maintain operational efficiency.
