Reese joins VTG following a tenure within the Department of the Navy, where she held roles including Deputy Commander for Corporate Operations at Naval Sea Systems Command. Her background spans financial management, acquisition policy, and human capital, having managed workforces exceeding 35,000 personnel. At VTG, she assumes responsibility for a primary business unit dedicated to engineering support for U.S. Navy ship and aviation systems.

VTG President and CEO John Hassoun cited Reese’s deep familiarity with federal budget cycles and congressional engagement as key factors for her appointment. Throughout her career, she navigated complex procurement strategies, notably serving as the business manager for the LPD-17 amphibious ship program and leading resource management at Marine Corps Systems Command. Reese, a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University and George Washington University, retired from federal service in 2025.
