The transition marks a departure from traditional workplace management software. By rearchitecting its platform to be AI-native, Robin aims to move beyond simple data tracking toward active task resolution. CEO Micah Remley stated that the company spent the past year rebuilding its infrastructure to ensure AI agents can interpret contextual office data—such as seating arrangements and usage patterns—to execute decisions without constant human oversight.
Integrating with Claude serves as the first step in this strategy, enabling teams to query Robin’s internal maps and parameters directly within the AI environment. According to Ciara Peter, senior vice president of product, the goal is to transform workplace intelligence into immediate action. Instead of managing a static list of office tasks, users can now define desired outcomes, leaving the execution to the platform. Robin confirmed that additional connectors for other AI ecosystems are currently in development, signaling a broader push to embed its orchestration tools across various business software suites.
