Independent liquor and wine retailers operate in a high-friction environment defined by complex state regulations, taxing inventory management, and labor shortages. Existing software often fails to bridge the gap between back-office compliance and front-end sales. Santé aims to replace these fragmented systems with an integrated platform that functions as an autonomous operating system for the industry.
The capital injection will accelerate the deployment of AI-driven agents capable of handling labor-intensive tasks. These tools range from automated invoice processing and inventory replenishment to predictive employee scheduling based on real-time foot traffic. By integrating data across in-store sales, delivery apps like Uber Eats, and e-commerce channels, the system allows owners to automate SEO-optimized cataloging and targeted customer marketing.
Darren Fike, CEO of Santé, notes that the platform is designed to shift from merely managing operational headaches to actively driving revenue growth. FINTOP Director Brittani Roberts emphasized that the firm’s investment hinges on the platform’s ability to move beyond simple tracking tools, providing store owners with a genuine mechanism to expand profit margins. The round included participation from returning investors Bonfire Ventures, Operator Collective, Y Combinator, and Veridical Ventures.
