Sankyo-Tateyama Swings to Profit as Revenue Climbs

Sankyo-Tateyama Inc. reported a significant financial turnaround for the first quarter ending August 31, posting a net profit of 1.57 billion yen. This marks a sharp recovery from the 687 million yen loss the company recorded during the same period last year, signaling a robust shift in performance.

Sankyo-Tateyama Swings to Profit as Revenue Climbs

The Japanese firm’s revenue reached 97.27 billion yen, up from 85.86 billion yen in the prior year. Operating profit surged to 2.64 billion yen, contrasting with an operating loss of 1.16 billion yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed this upward trajectory, hitting 2.43 billion yen compared to a 1.21 billion yen loss previously. Earnings per share climbed to 50.15 yen, a substantial improvement over the previous year's loss of 21.95 yen per share, according to results filed under Japanese accounting standards.
