Disney+ Secures Rights to Stream 2027 Super Bowl

For the first time, Disney+ will offer a comprehensive livestream of the Super Bowl in 2027, marking a significant shift in the company’s sports distribution strategy. The platform plans to carry the primary broadcast from ESPN and ABC, alongside the Spanish-language feed on ESPN Deportes for domestic audiences.

This expansion extends beyond the U.S. borders, with Disney+ set to stream the championship game across more than 55 international markets. The move follows a rotation of broadcast rights that saw the 2026 event hosted by NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock.

Beyond the final game, Disney will integrate NFL content into its streaming service by carrying two Monday Night Football matchups during the regular season. The initiative kicks off on October 26 with a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. These broadcasts will run concurrently with existing coverage on ESPN and ABC, maintaining the traditional television schedule while bolstering the platform's live sports catalog.
