Wynn Expands Chinese Wine Awards to Beijing for 2027 Judging

For the first time since its 2024 inception, the Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards will move its centerpiece Judging Week from Macao to Beijing. The shift, scheduled for August 2027, marks a strategic effort to immerse international experts in the nation's terroir before the final ceremony in Macao.

The 2027 calendar officially launches November 9, 2026, with entries opening early next year. By relocating the judging panel to the capital, organizers aim to move beyond technical evaluation, encouraging judges to act as ambassadors for China's burgeoning viticulture. This follows the competition's recent success at the 2026 SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific, where it secured the Diamond SABRE Award for brand building excellence.

Wynn continues to integrate these award-winning selections into high-end culinary circuits. Recent activations include partnerships with the Fine Dining Investment Forum in Shanghai and the development of the Meili Snow Mountain Boutique Wine Tourism Route in Yunnan. The organization is also set to feature these wines at the 47th World Congress of Vine and Wine in Yinchuan and the Tatler Best Awards Asia-Pacific in Shanghai, further cementing the status of domestic labels within the international fine dining market.
