Hisaka Works Ltd. posted a net profit of ¥2.32 billion for the nine-month period ending December 31, marking a steady increase from the previous year as the Japanese industrial firm benefited from a sharp rise in group revenue.

The Osaka-based manufacturer reported revenue of ¥31.42 billion for the first three quarters of its fiscal year, up from ¥25.90 billion during the same period in 2024. This growth in the top line filtered through to the bottom line, despite broader economic fluctuations in the machinery and equipment sector.

Growth in Operating Margins

Operational performance saw a marked improvement, with operating profit jumping to ¥2.43 billion from ¥1.57 billion a year ago. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, reaching ¥2.72 billion compared to ¥1.99 billion in the prior period.

The company's latest financial disclosure also highlighted the following key metrics:

    • Net profit rose to ¥2.32 billion from ¥2.11 billion.
  • Earnings per share increased to ¥87.29, up from ¥75.09.
    • Total group revenue expanded by approximately 21% year-over-year.
The results, which are based on Japanese accounting standards, reflect the company's ability to scale its operations while maintaining profitability. According to the report, the figures represent the consolidated performance of the group for the fiscal period ending in 2025.
