The rating process scrutinized 14 specific categories, including leadership, onboarding, and professional development. Keesler Federal distinguished itself through high rates of internal promotion and long-term staff tenure, metrics that indicate a stable and growth-oriented work environment. These findings validate the institution's strategy of prioritizing internal career paths over short-term hiring.

Andrew Swoger, President and CEO, noted that the organization’s success remains tied to the trust employees build with members. Catherine Shutts, Chief People Officer, added that the goal is to provide a career trajectory rather than a transactional job, emphasizing the importance of employee voice and recognition. Since its founding in 1947, the credit union has grown into a $5 billion entity serving over 400,000 members across Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and the United Kingdom.
