Aduro Clean Technologies Climbs After Pilot Plant Milestone

Shares of Aduro Clean Technologies jumped 20% on Tuesday, hitting 24.09 Canadian dollars, after the company confirmed its pilot facility successfully completed a sustained run. The waste-to-resource firm reported high liquid-hydrocarbon yields, marking a significant step toward proving its technology is ready for large-scale commercial deployment.

Aduro Clean Technologies Climbs After Pilot Plant Milestone

The latest testing phase at the Next Generation Process pilot plant yielded an 86% liquid-hydrocarbon output from waste polypropylene. Over a four-day testing window, the system operated continuously for 47 hours, maintaining steady-state conditions for 35 of those hours. This consistency in quality provides the data necessary to refine designs for the company's first-of-a-kind industrial facility.

Management intends to leverage these results to transition toward longer, 24/7 operational cycles. Future trials will incorporate mixed polypropylene and polyethylene feedstocks to further validate the process under industrial conditions. The successful run serves as a critical benchmark for the company's efforts to move from pilot-scale testing to full commercial operations.
