The new product suite targets key operational touchpoints to streamline the retail experience. Voice AI functions as an automated phone receptionist, managing order placement and inventory inquiries, while Agentic Commerce serves as a shopping concierge that builds carts and provides personalized product recommendations based on natural-language requests. For in-store environments, the Register Co-Pilot provides budtenders with real-time customer history and upsell suggestions to drive consistency at the checkout counter. Finally, Consumer Pulse aggregates survey data and public reviews into a single dashboard to track sentiment and identify emerging product trends.
CEO Tim Barash noted that the sector is hitting a technology inflection point, requiring retailers to move beyond manual processes to remain competitive. By consolidating these functions into a single customer identity, Dutchie intends to reduce operational friction for the 6,500 dispensaries currently using its platform. CTO Chris Ostrowski emphasized that the strategy focuses on embedding intelligence into existing systems rather than introducing disconnected third-party tools, allowing businesses to scale operations as the cannabis market shifts toward broader normalization.
